Mixty-Maxty – Mixed Up, Confused, a mishmash.
I think this is a word that we should run out and start using right now! Sure, it feels great to say it, it has that onomatopoetic snap to it after all, but it’s really a great descriptive word too. How useful is this word? Some examples…
The wildly fluctuating temperatures caused me to don a mixty- maxty outfit of bikini top, flip flops, corduroys and a ski parka.
When the newlywed’s combined their households the result was a mixty-maxty décor where her heirloom Biedermeier chairs surrounded his wagon wheel coffee table.
